Job Manager

Depending on your role and permissions, Job Manager may list report jobs, custom report jobs, inventory jobs, and/or preventative maintenance jobs. The page shows the statuses of those jobs, until they are deleted.

View Job Summaries

Destiny Administrator Super Administrator District User

For the Destiny Administrator, Job Manager shows all the jobs created in the district. It includes those created through the automated Job Scheduler, those invoked through the command line (for example, keyword building), and those submitted by any of the district users, administrators, or their staff.

For a Super Administrator, the Job Manager lists only the reports created by the user. It also includes those created through the automated Job Scheduler.

For a district user, the Job Manager lists only the reports created by the user. It also includes those created through the automated Job Scheduler.

  1. Log in as a Destiny Administrator.
  2. Select Setup > Job Manager sub-tab.
  3. To view a Job Summary in PDF format, click View.
  4. To view a summary that is in another format:
    1. Log in to the submitting site.
    2. Select Admin > Job Manager.
    3. Click View next to the Job Summary you want to see.
  1. Log in as a Super Administrator (Distributed or Consortium).
  2. Select Setup > Job Manager sub-tab.
  3. To view a Job Summary in PDF format, click View.
  1. Log in as a district user.
  2. Based on how Destiny is set up at your district, do one of the following:
    • Select Applications. > District Back Office.
    • From the top-right corner, click District.
  1. Click View next to the Job Summary you want to see.

To delete Job Summaries:

To delete a particular job and its files, click the delete icon, Delete icon..

Note: A Destiny Administrator can delete all completed, stopped, or failed jobs for the district, including scheduled jobs and those started by district users or site administrators.

To delete batches of jobs:

Selected Jobs Jobs Based on...
  1. Use the checkboxes to select jobs.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the list.
  3. Under Delete Jobs..., select All Selected (on this page).
  4. Click Delete.
  1. Scroll to the bottom of the list.
  2. Under Delete Jobs..., select Based on.
  3. From the drop-down, select:
    • Date Started: Select a Started on or before date.
    • Job Name: Select a Job Name.
    • Date Started and Job Name: Select a Started on or before date and a Job Name.
  4. Click Delete.
