Set up From/Reply To settings

If you set up a mail server on the SMTP Settings page (Setup > District Options sub-tab), your mail server may require a sender's email address.

Note: Some SMTP mail servers reject incoming email messages that do not include a return email address.
  1. Enter a default name in the From/Reply To Display Name field.
  2. Enter a default email address in the From/Reply To Email field.
  3. To send a test email, click Test Email.
  4. Click Save.

Note: The From/Reply To Display Name and From/Reply To Email fields are optional, but if one is defined, the other must also be defined. When generating a Hold Notices report, Current Checkout/Fines report, or a transfer request or resource order, the display name and email address can be changed at that time.
