Install the Dolphin File Transfer utility

Follow the steps below to install the Dolphin File Transfer utility on your workstation.

Important: Before installing the Dolphin File Transfer Utility, you must install the Dolphin USB drivers.

1. Download the installation application, DOLPHIN_FILE_XFER.EXE, to the local workstation.
2. Double-click the DOLPHIN_FILE_XFER.EXE file to launch the installation wizard.
3. Click Next. The next pop-up shows the Destination Folder.
4. Either click Next to install to the default folder (C:\Program Files\Dolphin File Transfer\), or click Change to specify a different location.
5. Click Finish to close the wizard. The installer creates a shortcut to the Dolphin File Transfer Utility on the desktop.

You are now ready to scan barcodes with your Dolphin, and transfer the barcode numbers to your workstation.
