Send Email When Help Ticket Generated

Districts can integrate Destiny with their external third-party help desk system. When a help ticket is created in Destiny, an email can be automatically sent to your third-party system.

To have Destiny send an email:

  1. Select Send e-mail when new Help Ticket is created in Destiny.
  2. Enter who is sending the email in the From/Reply To Display Name field.
  3. Enter the sender's email address in the From/Reply To Email field.
  4. Enter the email address of where Destiny should send the outbound email in the Send to Email field.
  5. Enter a descriptive topic in the Subject field.
  6. Use the Body field to map the information you want included in the email.
