Transfer checked out items (resources)

When you transfer checked out items when a patron is transferred:

• Select this checkbox to allow the automatic transfer of checked-out items. This checkbox applies to items of this Resource Type and all those nested beneath it.
• If the checked-out item (such as a laptop) has software assigned to it, the software license is not transferred to the new site. It is still assigned to the item, but the license remains the property of the transferring site.
• If you deselect this checkbox and transfer a patron with checked-out items of this resource type, the items remain the property of the transferring site.
