Edit a resource

Use the Edit Resource page to make updates to resources.

To edit a resource:

  1. Select Catalog > Resource Search.
  2. Use either the Search or Browse Resources sub-tab to search for a resource.
  3. When you find the resource you want, click Details.
  4. Click Edit. The Edit Resource page appears.
  5. Make changes, as needed.

    Notes: 

    To identify a title as an eTextbook, it must be assigned an Electronic Book (eBook) material type and Digital Material (never barcode) instructional classification. When resources are assigned the Digital Material - Auto Circ (never barcode) instructional classification, they are:

    • Automatically checked out if they are assigned to class sections; this occurs during Destiny's nightly run.
    • Available in My Info with links to digital resources, if any.
    • Automatically checked in on the due date; this occurs during Destiny's nightly run.
  6. When you are done, click Save.
Region Format Support

If you use a currency other than the United States Dollar, the Destiny Administrator can change the regional format.
