Allow patrons to create their user name and password

Select this checkbox to allow patrons to set their own user name and password for Destiny.

There are two additional requirements the patron must have to create their own user name and password. A patron must have:

• A record in Destiny containing a last name and barcode number.
• The Able to create own login permission selected on the patron's Access Level. This gives you more flexibility in the way you manage patron logins.

  Example: You can allow staff members to set their own user names and passwords, but not students.

Patrons create their account in Destiny Back Office and can then log in to Destiny Back Office and Destiny Discover.
