Enter any information related to the edition of the title. You can enter an unlimited number of characters.

Abbreviate edition to ed. if you are cataloging based on AACR2 rules.

For RDA, edition statements should reflect what is on the item. If a title has First Edition or 1st edition, ensure it appears as such. Abbreviations should only be entered when they are abbreviated on the item.

This field corresponds to the 250_a tag of the MARC21 format.

Destiny leaves both indicator positions blank for this field.
