Add or Edit Funding Sources

You can use Resource Manager to track which resources were purchased with various funds.

After you define a list of sources, you can choose the correct funding source when adding or editing an item.

To add or edit a funding source:

  1. From either an Add Item or Edit Item page, next to the Funding Source drop-down, click Other.
  2. Click Add Source or Edit icon. next to the source to update.
  3. Enter or edit the name (up to 50 characters).
  4. Click Save.
  5. Click Close.

To delete a source, click Delete icon..

To report on the funding statuses, you can generate either a Resource Value or Item Status report, limited by Funding Source. By selecting Undefined when creating the reports, you can see which resources do not have a funding source selected in the item record.
